Middlesbrough 2019

New for 2019 and a first for the North East – Walking with The Snowman is heading to Middlesbrough from Saturday 2nd November to Saturday 4th January!

The enchanting family-friendly walkable trail features twelve incredible sculptures in a tribute to Raymond Briggs’ magical classic, The Snowman™. Each Snowman has been individually decorated by a professional artist, inspired by the theme of the 12 Days of Christmas!

This is a really special addition to this year’s Magical Middlesbrough Christmas events calendar and the perfect photo opportunity to capture all twelve of the sculptures in the North East for the very first time.

Wrap up warm, head to the town centre and pick up one of the free official Trail Map booklets from one of the following locations; Middlesbrough Town Hall, Central Library, Cleveland Centre, Baker Street Kitchen or Psyche, and follow the path of the twelve beautifully painted snowmen that are all waiting to meet you.

We want to see your selfies with each character, so make sure you’re using the hashtag #TheSnowmanWalkBoro and tag us in your photos, share your stories of adventure with us and let us know which sculpture you love the best!

Event Location: Town centre
