Winkworth Arboretum 2022

The stunning Walking with The Snowman™ sculpture trail is coming to Winkworth Arboretum for the first time from 26 November until 2 January, 2023.

Inspired by the late Raymond Briggs’ timeless festive tale, The Snowman™, discover twelve giant The Snowman™ sculptures, hand painted by artists with designs inspired by the song ‘The 12 Days of Christmas’, tucked into the trees around National Trust woodland at Winkworth Arboretum.

With themes of friendship, imagination and adventure, The Snowman™ is the ultimate festive story to explore with family and friends. So grab your snow boots, wrap up warm, and get ready to go on a magical adventure.

Walking with The Snowman™ at Winkworth Arboretum is presented by the National Trust and Wild in Art in collaboration with Penguin Ventures (part of Penguin Random House UK).

Discover the trail from 26 Nov – 2 Jan (except 24 & 25 Dec) and soak up the magic of Christmas, with a twinkling carousel ride, warming mugs of hot chocolate and traditional winter fair games. Winkworth Arboretum is open between 10am – 4pm, with last entry being 3pm. The trail is included in the price of a site ticket – book tickets here.
