Year 5 and 6 pupils at St Charles RC Primary School were inspired by the story of The Snowman and the musical production of Dr Doolittle, which is being performed at The Lowry this Christmas. They researched Dr Doolittle by looking on the theatre’s website at the production photography and videos of the puppetry. They have created a sculpture which celebrates the beautiful imagery in The Snowman as well as the colourful animals in Dr Doolittle.
