For Twelve Drummers Drumming, artist Sue Guthrie has used a pastel colour palette with intricate floral and festive symbols using the berries and leaves from the holly bush. On the back of The Snowman a marching band are assembled, made up of twelve festive critters.
Sue Guthrie is a professional artist who has produced work for many sculpture trails. She is based in Birmingham where she works as both an artist and an educator, leading art workshops in schools and teacher training events. She also produces her own art work along with commissions for paintings, murals and digital artwork.
