6. Six Geese a-Laying
Matilda is an artist and writer from the Peak District. Having always been fascinated by by the illustrations in her favourite books, she dreamt of one day becoming an artist. Encouraged by her school teacher she chased her dream and is now works full time on her artistic endeavours. Matilda takes inspiration from the characters in the books she reads, with her favourite novel being ‘Moby Dick’ by Herman Melville.
